Ok, so I can officially say that my first 10 plague marines are modeled.
after seeing Davicious Prime's models onB&C i had to go back and add some nurgle iconography to my models.
I got my inspiration from his GS work here.
Again, crappy lighting = crappy pictures. Sorry. Someday i'll be able to shoot in daylight with a lightbox...
once i paint them the GS work should stand out a bit better...

Love the guy with the three eyed helmet- is that a nurgle helmet or just a regular chaos helmet?
just got about thirty or so nurgle daemons from my friend and now I'm thinking about doing an all infantry nurgle army- something small- about 1000 points.
Other then the terminators/plague wing are you using rhino's to get your guys across the table?
It seems like rhnio's always get popped, disabled, or blown up, but if I foot it across the board that will take forever, and playing my Saim-Hann I'm spoiled with moving 16" at a minimum.
the new Chaos Space Marines come with bitz to make a champion of all four gods and an unmarked champ.
the new dex is supposed to be out sometime in '08 for Daemon armies, i wish i had more info on it. people ive spoken with are expecting cult-specific codices afterwards (in the same vein as Blood Angels and Dark Angels)
My army list includes 2 rhinos @ 1000 points. i have 2 squads of Plague Marines loaded in rhinos. i'm planning on playing the rhinos as a rhino-rush tactic: roll it up 12", pop smoke, disembark. from there out they're terrain on tracks. i use them to block LOS to my plague marines and hopefully to funnel assault troops into a nice narrow group a la Battle of Thermoplae (i can never spell that right).
I plan on the rhino's getting popped, but @ 35 points for a nekkid one (like i'm running) if hey can get y guys to an ojective then slow my opponent's assault before they get popped, i'm happy, they've more than made their points back.
I've used transports with my nurglies and my loyalists and you can't beat the movement.
So far I have lots more on the table to worry about than a vehicle or two, so they typically last long enough to deliver thier payload if not longer.
I pay 50 for my chaos rhinos (extra armor) for the sole purpose of keeping the things moving. Even if it gets stunned the vehicle is going to plow on.
Another thing to do is to start the game with the payload squad outside of and behind the rhino so a first turn kill won't lose you any of the squad nor will they get pinned climbing out of the wreck. Then you load up and charge ahead 12" and pop smoke. Odds are you'll survive the next round of shooting with little more than a gun off and/or shaken result which will give you the opportunity to drive another 12" and drop off your squad in rapid fire range.
Everything after that is a bonus!
If the tank gets popped... it's atleast a piece of cover to regroup behind. And if you take multiples of them you increase the odds of crossing the table for at least some of them.
The three eye helm is the nurgle champ head for the new marines. There is a "champ" backpack and torso as well as power specific heads and shoulderpads for each of the powers and a pair of undivided options on the upgrade sprue. I used the three eye helm for one of my champs and the "champ" backpack for my other champ. The nurgle shoulder pad was kinda lame in my opinion so it goes on the bits pile for now.
My 1000pt nrgle army is 3x 7 man plague marine squads, a Nurglie Daemon Prince, 2 rhinos and a Vindicator. 25 models in all. So far I have collected 15 marines and a rhino which covers my combat patrol sized list. I got to use it this last Saturday vs. Orks. I made some serious tactical errors and lost but a 6 man plague marine squad took fire from the whole Ork patrol for 3 turns and remained over 50%.
